huggingface-spacesPurpose, usage and source
Build, deploy, and maintain applications on Hugging Face Spaces — Gradio / Docker / Static SDKs, ZeroGPU and dedicated hardware, model loading, debugging, buckets, inference providers, community grants. Use whenever the user asks to create or host an app on Hugging Face, port code onto ZeroGPU, fix a Space that won't build or run, or otherwise work with hf spaces …, @spaces.GPU, Space README frontmatter, or the spaces Python package.

Workflow excerpts are reading aids, not executable instructions from Codez. No third-party Skill was run to produce this page.
The purpose and workflow passages below are upstream material, organized and translated for reading. They are distinct from the separately labeled Codez editorial analysis.
What this Skill does
Build, deploy, and maintain applications on Hugging Face Spaces — Gradio / Docker / Static SDKs, ZeroGPU and dedicated hardware, model loading, debugging, buckets, inference providers, community grants. Use whenever the user asks to create or host an app on Hugging Face, port code onto ZeroGPU, fix a Space that won't build or run, or otherwise work with hf spaces …, @spaces.GPU, Space README frontmatter, or the spaces Python package.
How the upstream workflow works
Hugging Face Spaces
Hugging Face Spaces host machine-learning applications. There are 1M+ today; each Space is a git repo. This skill covers creating, building, debugging, and maintaining them.
Upstream passage · L6 ↗0. Getting ready
Before anything else: Check the hf CLI is installed: which hf. If not, pip install -U huggingface_hub.
1. What a Space is
A Space is a git repo with three possible SDKs: Gradio — most Spaces. Python, fast iteration, supports ZeroGPU.
Upstream passage · L20 ↗hf spaces search "<model name or task>" --sdk gradio --limit 10Requirements and setup
requirements.txt
Do NOT list: gradio, spaces, huggingface_hub (preinstalled and platform-managed; pinning them causes resolution failures or silently breaks the ZeroGPU runtime). Do list if you use them: torchvision, torchaudio (not preinstalled), plus everything else (diffusers, transformers, accelerate, sentencepiece, …).
Limits and quality checks
No separate limits passage was selected from this file. This does not mean the Skill is safe for every input or environment. Review the complete source and validate your own result.
Start with a safe trial
- Check the supported host and the repository installation instructions. Keep the Skill directory and its referenced scripts, assets and documentation together; SKILL.md alone may omit dependencies.
- Give the agent your real input, desired output and acceptance criteria. Invocation syntax and available tools depend on the host; this site does not assume a universal install command.
- Try the source workflow in a disposable project or on a copy. Review operations that change files, remote services or billable resources before allowing them.
- Validate the output against the source quality checks and your own requirements. A successful trigger or a high repository Star count does not establish a correct result.
