What this Skill does
Guides Microsoft Entra ID app registration, OAuth 2.0 authentication, and MSAL integration. USE FOR: create app registration, register Azure AD app, configure OAuth, set up authentication, add API permissions, generate service principal, MSAL example, console app auth, Entra ID setup, Azure AD authentication. DO NOT USE FOR: Key Vault secrets (use azure-keyvault-expiration-audit), general Azure resource security guidance.
How the upstream workflow works
Overview
Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) is Microsoft's cloud-based identity and access management service. App registrations allow applications to authenticate users and access Azure resources securely.
Upstream passage · L10 ↗Step 1: Register the Application
Create an app registration in the Azure portal or using Azure CLI. Navigate to Azure Portal → Microsoft Entra ID → App registrations Click "New registration" Provide name, supported account types, and redirect URI
Upstream passage · L37 ↗Step 2: Configure Authentication
Set up authentication settings based on your application type. Web Apps: Add redirect URIs, enable ID tokens if needed SPAs: Add redirect URIs, enable implicit grant flow if necessary Mobile/Desktop: Use http://localhost or custom URI scheme
Requirements and setup
No short requirements passage was selected from this file. This does not mean the Skill has no dependencies. Check the repository setup instructions and referenced files.
Limits and quality checks
No separate limits passage was selected from this file. This does not mean the Skill is safe for every input or environment. Review the complete source and validate your own result.
Start with a safe trial
- Check the supported host and the repository installation instructions. Keep the Skill directory and its referenced scripts, assets and documentation together; SKILL.md alone may omit dependencies.
- Give the agent your real input, desired output and acceptance criteria. Invocation syntax and available tools depend on the host; this site does not assume a universal install command.
- Try the source workflow in a disposable project or on a copy. Review operations that change files, remote services or billable resources before allowing them.
- Validate the output against the source quality checks and your own requirements. A successful trigger or a high repository Star count does not establish a correct result.
