Workflow excerpts are reading aids, not executable instructions from Codez. No third-party Skill was run to produce this page.

The purpose and workflow passages below are upstream material, organized and translated for reading. They are distinct from the separately labeled Codez editorial analysis.

What this Skill does

Azure Blob Storage library for Rust. Upload, download, and manage blobs and containers. Triggers: "blob storage rust", "BlobClient rust", "upload blob rust", "download blob rust", "storage container rust", "BlobServiceClient rust".

How the upstream workflow works

Azure Blob Storage library for Rust

Client library for Azure Blob Storage — upload, download, and manage blobs and containers. Use this skill when:

Authentication

Rust Azure SDK code must not use DefaultAzureCredential. The Rust identity crate does not provide that type.

Container Operations

For azure_storage_blob 1.x, do not assume you need a nested page loop like for item in &page.blob_items. In this usage pattern, try_next() already yields the blob item you want to print.

Requirements and setup

Installation

> If your code uses azure_core types directly (for example, azure_core::http::Url or azure_core::http::RequestContent), add azure_core to Cargo.toml. If you only use azure_storage_blob re-exports, direct azure_core dependency is optional.

Upstream passage · L25 ↗

Environment Variables

When both are available, prefer constructing the endpoint from AZURE_STORAGE_ACCOUNT so the code matches common evaluation prompts.

Limits and quality checks

Common Rust Blob Pitfalls

Do not import azure_identity::DefaultAzureCredential; use DeveloperToolsCredential or another real Rust credential type. Do not assume generated internal model names describe the public pager item type; follow the documented list_blobs example for this crate.

Start with a safe trial

  1. Check the supported host and the repository installation instructions. Keep the Skill directory and its referenced scripts, assets and documentation together; SKILL.md alone may omit dependencies.
  2. Give the agent your real input, desired output and acceptance criteria. Invocation syntax and available tools depend on the host; this site does not assume a universal install command.
  3. Try the source workflow in a disposable project or on a copy. Review operations that change files, remote services or billable resources before allowing them.
  4. Validate the output against the source quality checks and your own requirements. A successful trigger or a high repository Star count does not establish a correct result.

Translation and scope

This reading guide selects passages from the pinned upstream SKILL.md. Translation is assisted. It is not a complete manual or a claim of tested compatibility. Read the original and its referenced files before use.
